Take action

1. It happened some time ago but . I was in an audience listening to a motivational speaker. The speaker got out his wallet & pulled out a 500 Naira note. Holding it up, he asked, "Who wants this 500 naira note?" Lots of hands went up. Including mine. A slow chorus began to build as people began to shout "Me!" "Me!" I began to wonder who the lucky one would be who the speaker would choose. And I also secretly wondered (and I am sure others did too ) why he would simply give away 500 naira. Even as the shouts of "I want it" grew louder, I noticed a young woman running down the aisle. She ran up onto the stage, went up to the speaker, and grabbed the five 500 naira note from his hand. "Well done, young lady," said the speaker into the microphone. The speaker simply say "Most of us just sit and wait for good things to happen. That's of no use. You've got to make things happen. Make a move" '

BEAUTIFUL IMPERFECTION 1.

A round peg in a round hole was the best way to discribe Tina and Jude. They loved each other in no small measure and they were the toast of the people that beheld their blossomed young love. They were chronic friends in their early months in the university before they eventually decided to turn in a new tone of music. Afterwards, there was a popular saying that getting married to your best friend is the beginning of a nice family. The two lovers epitomised love in so many ways; no doubt, they were always their faculty's best couple, they always wear the same colour of clothes and sometimes, they put on the same pattern of polo and they wore the same type of fabrics. Although, they lived at a considerable distance away from each other, they were always seen together like five and six and always looking out for each other in everything they did. However, an elder told me sometimes ago that 'buying the whole world for a foolish lover won't stop him or her from cheating on y

Biggest Happiness

Just two years after our marriage, hubby brought up the idea of asking Mother to move from the rural hometown and spend her remaining years with us. Hubby's father passed away while he was still very young. Mother endured much hardship and struggled all on her own to provide for him, see him through to a university degree. You could say that she suffered a great deal and did everything you could expect of a woman to bring hubby to where he is today. I immediately agreed and started packing the spare room, which has a balcony facing the South to let her enjoy the sunshine and plant greenery. Hubby stood in the bright room, and suddenly just picked me up and started spinning round and round. As I begged him to put me down, he said: "Lets go fetch mother". Hubby is tall and big sized and I love to test on his chest and enjoy the feeling that he could pick me up at any moment put the tiny me into his pockets. Whenever we have an argument and both refuses t

Dear son

I am writing this to you for 3 reasons: 1. Life, fortune and mishaps are unpredictable, nobody knows how long he lives. Some words are better said early. 2. I am your father, and if I don't tell you these, no one else will. 3. What is written is my own personal experiences that perhaps could save you a lot of unnecessary heartaches. Remember the following as you go through life: 1. Do not bear grudge towards those who are not good to you. No one has responsibility of treating you well, except your mum & I. To those who are good to you treasure them & be thankful. Also you must be cautious. Everyone has a motive for every move. When a person is good to you, it does not mean he really likes you. Be careful, do not hastily regard the person as a real friend. 2. No one & nothing is indispensable. Once you understand this idea, it would be easier for you to go through life when people around you do not want you anymore, or when you lose what/who you love most. 3.

Daily Task

Leader is a daily Task.  So start today and take the lead. Good luck.

A Man who wants to Lead

The One Thing That Determines Your Success as a Leader

leadership is a complex endeavor, but it doesn’t have to be complicated. We tend to make things more complicated than they need to be and that’s definitely true in the field of leadership. To prove my point, go to Amazon.com and search their book listings for the word “leadership” and see how many returns you get (but wait until you finish reading this article!). What did you find? It was 138,611 as of the writing of this post. Browsing the titles of some popular best-sellers would lead you to believe that in order to be a successful leader you just need to find the magical keys, take the right steps, follow the proper laws, figure out the dysfunctions, embrace the challenge, ascend the levels, look within yourself, look outside yourself, form a tribe, develop the right habits, know the rules, break the rules, be obsessed, learn the new science, or discover the ancient wisdom. Did I say we like to over-complicate things? What if successful leadership isn’t really that complicated?

Great Leaders

You are a leader

The week Target (Everything about Leadership)

Good morning Great People of Fulfillment.           Give of yourself to others in making the world a better place. This is best done when your personal reserves are full, it is therefore important for the individual to always take care of their health, state of mind first and then you are truly able to be in service to others. A journey of self-discovery is what helps you heal and by the law of cause and effect, you are changing the world around you.Give of yourself to others in making the world a better place. He is fake

I was blessed by this piece so I decided to share One day a local evangelist bragged during a crusade that his God was more able than all the other gods in the town and the powers of the universe that the villagers worshiped put together. Just then, rainstorm sounds started sounding overhead, threatening the progress of the crusade. The evangelist lifted up his voice and declared with confidence that if the rains fell, then he wasn't a man of God; he would stop preaching! Before he could finish his bluff, the rains began to hit the crusade grounds so vehemently, apparently in disregard to his declarations. The whole town left the crusade grounds to their houses, shaking their heads in disappointment and dismay. The evangelist, so distraught and angry, packed his belongings and left the town the next day. On his way through the next town, he checked into a local drinking spot and drank himself to stupor. As he laid on the ground cursing God, an old seedy looking man tapped him ge
