Easy Requirements for getting Wisdom

Wisdom is really available, we just need to set our attitudes right.

Prov 1:20-23 BBE Wisdom is crying out in the street; her voice is loud in the open places; Her words are sounding in the meeting-places, and in the doorways of the town: How long, you simple ones, will foolish things be dear to you? and pride a delight to the haters of authority? how long will the foolish go on hating knowledge? Be turned again by my sharp words: see, I will send the flow of my spirit on you, and make my words clear to you.
Wisdom cries aloud, literally, shouts. The Wisdom of God is not silent, it is not beyond our reach, it is near us. Wisdom shouts in public places, readily available to us.
The wisdom of God here is personified and is calling to us or inviting us. Remember Jesus is the Wisdom of God, and as Jesus invites sinners to repentance Wisdom is inviting us people to repent of our simple, wicked and foolish ways (Prov 1:22-23).
And as salvation is free, the Wisdom of God is also free. You don't need to pay high tuition fee to get wisdom. In fact, a fool cannot buy wisdom (Prov 17:16), because a fool do not have understanding.

So what are the easy requirements:
Repentance (Prov 1:22-23)
The simple should stop loving to be simple.
The scoffer should stop delighting in scoffing.
The self-confident fools should stop hating knowledge.

Value Wisdom
Do not hate knowledge (Prov 1:23)
Do not scoff knowledge and wisdom (Prov 1:23)
Heed God's reproof, correction and instructions (Prov 1:7, Prov 1:23, Prov 1:25, Prov 1:30 (refs4))
Do not treat God's counsel as nothing but value it (Prov 1:25)
Accept God's invitation for wisdom (Prov 1:20-21, Prov 1:24 (refs2))

Listen
Take time to listen to wisdom
Make an effort to tune in to wisdom in your life even when there are many other voices in the public (Prov 1:20-21)
Read God's word, meditate on it
Listen to the teachings and the preaching of the pastor
Read books, study
Use your brain in studying God's word

Fear God and Worship God
Prov 1:7 AMP The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning and the principal and choice part of knowledge [its starting point and its essence]; but fools despise skillful and godly Wisdom, instruction, and discipline.
Choose the reverent worshipful fear of the Lord (Prov 1:29).
Delight in God
Respect God for whatever you respect you attract (Mike Murdock).
Seek, ask, knock
Mat 7:7-8 AMP Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.
If you lack wisdom, ask/pray to God (James 1:5).
Use your brain in studying God's word, in seeking. God said or commanded us to meditate on His word day and night (Joshua 1:8). But what is the meaning of meditate?

Webster's definition of Meditate: to dwell on anything in thought; to contemplate; to study; to turn or revolve any subject in the mind.

Wordnet's definition of Meditate: chew over; think over; ponder; contemplate; reflect; reflect deeply on a subject. Also to study; think intently and at length, as for spiritual purposes.

The idea of meditation is thinking and not waiting for some ideas and insights just to be dropped in your mind. Yes, God will drop insights to your mind but you have to do your part — meditate, think.

Respect the man of God teaching wisdom
Whatever you respect or value you attract.
If you respect the wisdom anointing of a man of God, you attract his anointing and the benefits thereof.
Sowing into their lives and obeying sowing opportunities that God has given to them to tell you opens great blessings. Thank You.

The Most complex problem

Many hundreds of years ago in a small Italian town, a merchant had the misfortune of owing a large sum of money to the moneylender. The moneylender, who was old and ugly, fancied the merchant’s beautiful daughter so he proposed a bargain. He said he would forgo the merchant’s debt if he could marry the daughter. Both the merchant and his daughter were horrified by the proposal. The moneylender told them that he would put a black pebble and a white pebble into an empty bag. The girl would then have to pick one pebble from the bag.If she picked the black pebble, she would become the moneylender’s wife and her father’s debt would be forgiven. If she picked the white pebble she need not marry him and her father’s debt would still be forgiven. But if she refused to pick a pebble, her father would be thrown into jail. They were standing on a pebble strewn path in the merchant’s garden. As they talked, the moneylender bent over to pick up ...

The Trade of Wisdom.

The trade of wisdom is better than the trade of money or silver. Prov 3:14 KJV For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. NET For her benefit is more profitable than silver, and her gain is better than gold. The Hebrew word used for merchandise, sachar, means an emporium, abstractly, profit (from trade). In BDB: traffic, gain, profit, gain from merchandise, a. traffic, gain from traffic. The root word is sachar, which means to travel round (specifically as a pedlar). BDB: to go around, go about, travel about in, go about in trade, a. (Qal): to go about to and fro (in business) trader, trafficker (participle) So not only is wisdom better than money, or the profit of wisdom better than the profit of money, or the acquisition of wisdom better than the acquisition of money, but also the trade, traffic or business of wisdom better that the trade, commerce or business of money. Now let us talk about trade. How do you trad...
